WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SYNTHETIC OIL AND MINERAL OIL?
Mineral-based oil is simply a heavily refined version of oil sourced from the ground.
Synthetic oils are oils obtained by chemical methods done by professionals in the laboratory, which are not extracted from natural petroleum reserves. They are frequently used where mineral oils are insufficient, as their performance and thermal resistance have been improved. Suitable for systems operating at very high temperatures such as jet engines and very low temperatures.
Mineral-based oils are products obtained as a result of the distillation of crude oil.
